You can recover from any injury or imbalance, I am living proof. I have had multiple injuries often to the same location (breaks, impact injuries, sprains, strains, ect.). Without the help of Holistic Therapies (Yoga, Massage, Functional Exercise, Nutrition, Craniosacral- subtle alignment energy work) I would not be the pain-free Rock Climbing, Extreme Sports enthusiast I am today.
